G’day, I’m Tom Anderson and my family and I run Southern Beaches Kitchen, a small hospitality service based in Carlton, Tasmania. I’ve been in the industry for over 15 years, cooking in fine dining restaurants, wineries and hotels. I have also taught commercial cookery at numerous schools in Melbourne and Hobart. From this experience, I have learnt that my passion is working with seasonal local ingredients with minimum wastage.

What I have found since moving down here is that it’s typically hard to find local ingredients on a daily basis. We have some of the best produce in the world right on our door step but can be tricky to find.
